This past Monday, Toccoa Falls College hosted over 300 students and faculty members from Stephens County High School. The college-sponsored event was meant to be a point of information and encouragement for those who visited TFC. The high school students had an opportunity to tour the college’s campus and briefly experience college life.
“They were encouraged to complete their high school education and then to go on to college,” says Anna Hunter, Visit and Event Coordinator for the Office of Admissions, “Dr. Kieran Clements, dean of the school of Arts and Sciences, also talked with the group about the expectations of the college experience and the advantages of getting a college degree.” The group also had the opportunity to hear from TFC students, who talked about their future plans and how they would use their degrees once they graduate from TFC.
