Hadley Harris Signs with Eagles
Written by

Hadley Harris, a 5’9” setter, has recently signed with Toccoa Falls College for the 2012 volleyball season and will begin classes this Fall. Harris is a senior at Chipley High School in Chipley, Florida where she has been a four-year starter on her high school team and was a team captain her senior year. She currently plays for Deep South Volleyball Club out of Florida. This past season she led her high school team in aces, service points, and digs. She was also selected as Miss Lady Tigers Volleyball 2011. Harris is excited about coming to Toccoa in the fall. “I truly believe the Lord wants me to go to Toccoa Falls,” she said. “I need a small, caring, Christian family-feeling school and TFC gave me that feeling right from the start.”

Chipley High School Coach, Jerry Corbin, is pleased to see Harris moving on to play at TFC. “Hadley has worked very hard to achieve this opportunity,” he said. “She started in the 9th grade and has steadily improved her skills. She has played club ball for three years and has assisted Roulhac Middle School in the off season. It is obvious that she has a love for the sport of volleyball. I think she will be a tremendous asset to the Toccoa Falls College program.”

TFC Head Coach Selina Slate is eager to have Harris join the Lady Eagles. “Hadley is an excellent volleyball player and comes to us with a lot of experience.  She will be a great asset to our team and to TFC as a student athlete,” Slate said. “The best part about her decision is that she knows that TFC is where the Lord wants her.  Knowing she will be able to make a positive impact in our program as a player is icing on the cake.”
