Spiritual Formation

Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP)

TFC is in the middle of a 5-year plan to develop its emphasis on wisdom education. The integration of character development and intellectual development saturates every part of our campus. From the Cornerstone class in spiritual formation to the Capstone courses for each major and the Centerstone ministry experiences in between, students receive an education that is intentionally interwoven to develop the whole person.

Spiritual Life Coordinators (SLC’s)

These student leaders work together with Resident Assistants on each floor to facilitate hall devotions, times for prayer and mutual ministry in the dorm setting.

Student Missions Fellowship

SMF is a student organization that meets on Wednesday evening to promote missions work and to inform students how the Lord is working in other cultures.

Campus Prayer Room

TFC has a specific room set aside on campus where individual students and student groups can find a quiet and conducive place for prayer. Student prayer leaders schedule days for concentrated prayer efforts and the student body is invited to come together on their knees.

Class

Many professors choose to begin class by praying for individual students and others in the college community. Professors also work hard to integrate faith and learning throughout the educational experience.

Music/Ministry Teams

Talented students at TFC use their abilities to impact people’s lives through music. From classical ensembles to contemporary worship bands, students are active in making music to minister to various groups of people on and off campus. This includes chapel music teams and camp ministry teams.

Campus Community Church

Though students have many options for local church attendance and ministry, TFC facilitates Campus Community Church located right on campus. The church is active in community outreach through the Light Zone Youth Ministry and Pond Street Bread Ministry. www.campuscommunitychurch.org
